His powers fade away after this final punch. Bakugo wrongly felt that he was the reason why All Might had to retire, and the responsibility on Deku’s shoulders to live up to All Might’s legacy became heavier than ever before.

After the Paranormal Liberation Front is formed, they launch a major assault on Japan that has long-lasting consequences. The sedation takes too long to work on Gigantomachia, as Midnight dies during his rampage, and he crushes several cities during his warpath. Meanwhile, Shigaraki’s immense powers make him a force to be reckoned with, forcing Aizawa to use his Quirk on him at all times to negate his threat. Midoriya also masters the Quirks of other One for All users, although all of this isn’t enough to stop the Paranormal Liberation Front from destroying the credibility of the Pro Heroes, especially with Daki revealing himself to be Endeavor’s son in a landmark moment.

After All Might’s retirement, Endeavor needed something big to help establish him as a worthy No. 1 Hero for the people of Japan. His trial arrives almost instantly, with a new high-end Nomu named Hood arriving to fight him. It’s a short and brutal battle where Endeavor sustains major scars and almost loses the will to fight. However, he uses his fiery powers to make up for his lack of mobility, using an immensely powerful Prominence Burn to burn Hood to a crisp and reassure the people of Japan that he’s more than worthy of replacing All Might.
