Grow A Garden Debuts “Mega Summer” Update
As reported by PCGamesN, Grow a Garden has officially rolled out its “Mega Summer” update with lots of new additions to the game. The update added “traveling merchants” to the game, appearing once every four hours for a 30-minute period and giving players access to exclusive items. Grow a Garden added eight different flowers to the update, including Rafflesias and Aloe Vera, alongside new pets like Fennec Foxes and Sand Snakes. The update even debuted several special events players can experience within Grow a Garden, like the Mega Harvest granting extra crops and an Aurora Borealis.
Grow a Garden’s big new update looks to bring lots to the table for fans of the farming sim, enticing players with special bonuses. Each of the three major new events feature special effects on the player’s crops, with Tropical Rain and Aurora Borealis speeding up growth while Mega Harvests provide bonus Summer Harvest points. The two growth events are also said to contain their own special plant mutations, alongside new mutation sprays being added to the game. The suite of changes coming to Grow a Garden comes as the game has already teased another update coming in less than two weeks. Alongside the release of Grow a Garden’s Mega Summer update, the team behind the farming sim also hinted at another content update set to arrive on July 5. No details were shared about what the next update would contain, though the patch will likely be smaller in scale than the sizable Mega Summer patch.
