Elden Ring Nightreign is filled with a ton of consumables, most of which are unique and useful in different situations. These consumables can be acquired through the Expeditions, but some items might be more useful to have early on in the game when dealing decent damage is a major issue.

The central castle is a dangerous but incredibly valuable location to visit in Elden Ring Nightreign, with several possible enemy and boss types.
One of the best early game items to have is the Wraith Calling Bell, which takes up one inventory space and has permanent use as long as players have enough FP to cast it again. This guide covers how to find and effectively use the Wraith Calling Bell in Elden Ring Nightreign.
How to Find Wraith Calling Bell In Elden Ring Nightreign
Similar to every other consumable and item in the game, acquiring the Wraith Calling Bell is purely random. Luckily, there are a few locations in the game that have a higher chance of dropping this weapon for you. Firstly, you should interact with every Gravestone you find, as there is always a single item at the base of the Gravestone.
There is a high chance this item can be the Wraith Calling Bell, but in case you don’t get it, you can try your luck at the Sorceror’s Rises.
The Sorceror’s Rises are usually present in small numbers across Limveld. These towers are sealed magically, and unlocking them requires finding a blue crest around or inside the Rises, depending on which door is sealed. You should look out for anything that is unusual, like an imp statue out front, a different kind of tree, or even a reflection in the water on the side. Once unlocked, head up to the top of the Rise, where you will find an item to choose from. These are usually items that are beneficial for the Sorcery/Incantation-related Nightfarers, but there is also a chance to have the Wraith Calling Bell as a choosable option.
Lastly, you can also guarantee starting your expedition with a Wraith Calling Bell if you can get your hands on a Relic that has the starting effect. Getting a Relic with a specific effect is purely random, but as you complete more expeditions, you will surely get it sooner rather than later.
How to Use Wraith Calling Bell In Elden Ring Nightreign
Bell used by worshippers of revenants.
Wraiths are said to be the vengeful spirits of those who died when cursed.
The Wraith Calling Bell is a reusable item with a 6 FP cost. When used, it releases a small projectile from the bell that deals Magic damage to enemies. The wraiths summoned from the bell slowly track their target but have a long range, making them effective for keeping pressure from a distance. The time between each cast is minimal, so you can repeatedly use it to deal consistent damage.
As you progress into the later days of the expedition, it’s best to use the item only when needed. You should not rely entirely on the Bell, as Night bosses and Nightlords cannot be afflicted with a Status Ailment.
