Normally, in Grow a Garden events, you spend Sheckles to grab whatever seeds, tools, or cosmetics you want from the shops (or Robux if you’re a pay-to-play player). But the Bee Swarm update changed things a bit. This time, the event currency, as you’d expect from its name, is honey. These jars of honey are the only way to buy items from the Honey Shop, which includes exciting things like the Bee Egg, Flower Seed Pack, Hive Fruit Seed, and even bee-themed cosmetics. But stacking up honey isn’t all that easy. This guide will show you how you can quickly get more honey in Grow a Garden so you don’t miss out on any of your favorite event pets, crops, or goodies.

How to Get Honey Fast in Grow a Garden

In Grow a Garden’s Bee Swarm update, you can’t produce honey yourself. Instead, you have to visit the NPC at the Honey Compressor stall and give him 10 kg of pollinated fruits to get 10 jars of honey. Here are some of the best tips to snag more honey without wasting too much time.
Pollinate Higher KG Fruits

To get honey fast in Grow a Garden, you’ll want to focus on heavier pollinated fruits since just one or two of them can weigh around 10 kg and quickly earn you 10 jars. This saves you from waiting around for lots of lightweight fruits to mutate and then collecting and submitting them. To do this, make sure your farmland has more plants that produce heavy fruits. Here’s a list of them:

Shovel Out Small Plants

Another tip to snag more honey is to remove the small plants from your garden. From our GaG gaming experience, bees tend to be more attracted to smaller plants during the Bee Swarm event, especially Glowshrooms, and they pollinate those more. So, it’s best to shovel away tiny plants that aren’t very profitable and bulkier, like Strawberries, Blueberries, and Glowshrooms. If you don’t want to do that, you can also expand your garden to make extra space and plant larger ones instead.
Unlock More Pets Slots and Use Bees

Players can also get tons of honey by having many bee pets on their farm (except the Bear Bee) since they provide pollinated fruits even outside the Bee Swarm event. You can unlock these by buying the Bee Egg and keeping it on your farm until it hatches, which takes about four hours and 10 minutes. Keep in mind that you need to have more bees (eight if possible) on your farm, which you can do by increasing pet slots. This is super important because their traits add up, helping you get mutated fruits quicker than with just a few.
Trade Pollinated Fruits

Lastly, you can also make honey quickly by trading crops or pets for pollinated fruits with other players. As of update 1.08.0, there’s no proper trading system in GaG — you can only do this through the gifting system. Since players can scam you, try trading only with friends or family members you’re playing with.
