Nightmare Echoes can significantly alter the way you build your characters in Wuthering Waves. Here’s how to get them.
Nightmare: Kelpie Location In Wuthering Waves
Nightmare: Kelpie can be found in the Mournfell Canyon on top of a lake in Wuthering Waves. You don’t need to complete any quest to do a special task, simply unlock the map and approach the lake in Mournfell Canyon to automatically spawn the Nightmare: Kelpie boss in Wuthering Waves. Defeat the enemy to obtain its Echo, and then you can equip it on any resonator.
The Echo will allow players to transform into a Nightmare: Kelpie and deal Glacio DMG. Additionally, any resonator with this Echo equipped in the main slot gains a Glacio and Aero DMG bonus, and you can also summon a Nightmare: Kelpie by switching out the character with a ready outro skill.
How To Beat Nightmare: Kelpie In Wuthering Waves
To beat the Nightmare: Kelpie in Wuthering Waves, players need to evade its quick and AoE attacks as well as take advantage of its vulnerable moments. While fighting the boss, it will immediately lunge at players and perform quick attacks that deal Glacio and Aero damage. Try to evade all of them and only try to hit back if you feel there’s an opening.
Some of the Nightmare: Kelpie’s attacks are AoE and will deal high damage. You might get swiped away by its tail if you run away or get stuck in its large AoE Glacio circles if you get too close. Always try to anticipate which move the boss is going to perform and avoid it. During the battle, the Nightmare: Kelpie will get tired after performing an AoE attack and will take a couple of seconds to rest. Use this opportunity to unleash all kinds of attacks on the boss to deplete its health quickly, like using all of the resonators’ skills and ultimates. Try adding a DPS resonator to your party in Wuthering Waves and then switch to them to deal high damage when the Nightmare: Kelpie stops attacking.
Eventually, players will defeat the boss and obtain the Nightmare: Kelpie Echo in Wuthering Waves. Try to get out of the arena quickly if you don’t wish to fight the boss a second time as it will respawn very quickly.
