A fan of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet games has brought the legendary Pokemon Miraidon to life in LEGO form, using only a limited variety of pieces and their own creativity to guide them. This homemade LEGO model quickly caught the interest of thousands of fellow Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans after it was shared online, demonstrating how fan artwork featuring personal favorite Pokemon really can take just about any form. Koraidon and Miraidon, the box legendary Pokemon from the Gen 9 Pokemon Scarlet and Violet games, earned a soft spot in the hearts of many fans after the games launched. For those who haven’t had the chance to try the games out themselves, Scarlet and Violet handle their box legendaries surprisingly differently from most other titles in the series. Fans actually encounter these strange legendary partners very early on in the game, and while they don’t become battle-ready for quite some time, Koraidon and Miraidon serve as players’ mounts to help them get around the open-world environment of the Paldea region almost right from the start.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Player Has Incredible Luck After Letting 4 Year Old Son Play the Game

A Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fan shares their four-year-old’s incredible luck encountering a shiny in the game with the community.

Inspired after recently finishing their first playthrough of Pokemon Violet, one member of the community known as RapDax_Gaming recently used nothing but their own imagination and a limited supply of bricks to build their own LEGO Miraidon. After several attempts and plenty of experimentation, the creator settled on this adorable design for their LEGO recreation of the Pokemon Violet-exclusive legendary, which garnered significant online traction in just a couple of days. Many other fans have designed their own quality LEGO Pokemon creations in the past as well, making it a somewhat common yet very involved form of fan art.

Miraidon and Koraidon themselves have appeared in a lot of fan artwork themselves, with some artists creating alternative Paradox forms for them, and others even imagining what these Pokemon would look like in the real world. The idea of Paradox Pokemon, which was conceptually introduced alongside Koraidon and Miraidon, has inspired a whole new era of fan artwork in the Pokemon community, with countless artists creating Paradox variants of just about every popular Pokemon that exists.

It’s safe to say that, despite their many technical flaws, Scarlet and Violet did a pretty solid job with many of their creature designs, including the games’ starters. While opinions on such designs will always be split to some degree, the Gen 9 starter Pokemon were generally much more well-received than those of the generation before it. With Pokemon Scarlet and Violet now in the past, though, many fans of the series are excited about the next major release and the new creatures it will introduce, with Pokemon Legends: Z-A set to release later this year on October 16.
