Summary

Orcal’s inner strength and mental willpower make him one of the strongest characters in Stellar Blade.

Quel, Rael, and Shael, Xion’s elite guards, challenge Eve in the game with deadly spears.

Eve grows into god-tier strength in Stellar Blade, with multiple endings and a final battle against powerful foes.

Stellar Blade’s story goes to some wild places throughout its thirty-plus-hour journey. It begins with a group of female soldiers diving onto Earth from space to fight mutated creatures called Naytiba. Players will meet characters, see them die, and so much more. There are open areas to explore, but it’s not an open-world game, and it isn’t populated like one either. There aren’t a lot of NPCs in Stellar Blade, so the characters that are introduced are pretty interesting, from the main character Eve to the keen-eyed Orcal. Who among them ranks the strongest in both body and mind? Let’s go through who stands out and rank them accordingly.

How does every main character of Stellar Blade fare after the story concludes? Here’s a breakdown of it, with full spoiler warnings active.

8

Orcal

Quietly Keeping Xion Alive

Orcal is basically the leader and librarian of Xion. Eve meets him when she arrives in the city, seeing Orcal hooked up to giant machines like he is on the set of The Matrix. It’s later revealed that he’s a Naytiba, a transformed monster, but he was strong enough to resist the mutagen long enough before he needed to pass on his code to Eve. While Orcal is never shown fighting, his inner strength and mental willpower more than make him one of the strongest characters in the series so far.

Quiel, Rael, & Shael

Xion’s Elite Guards

Quiel, Rael, and Shael are three identical-looking guards who look like a cross between the Emperor’s Red Guards from Star Wars and the Gerudo people from The Legend of Zelda. They all have deadly spears and will challenge Eve to duels to let her pass. They all have equal strength and their past is mysterious. Are they part of a hive mind, related, or something else that will be revealed in the next game whenever that comes to pass?

Mann

Orcal’s Guard

Mann is Orcal’s direct guard in his antechamber, and he looks a bit like a character from Ghost in the Shell or Cyberpunk 2077. His face is covered up by mechanical parts, but even though he looks silly, Mann can still see.

8 Best Eve Quotes From Stellar Blade

These are just a few of Eve’s most memorable lines and moments from Shift Up’s Stellar Blade.

Eve will have to face him in a duel toward the end of the game and his attacks are swift and powerful. Without a good defense, players can lose the fight, which makes sense why he was chosen to guard Orval then.
5

Tachy

Eve’s Savior

Tachy is the lead commander of Eve’s Airborne Squad when they enter Earth at the start of the game. It’s clear that Eve at this point is a bit wet behind the ears and looks up to Tachy immensely. Tachy sacrifices herself to save Eve, which then leads to her getting infected by the Naytiba later in the game. In this transformed state, Tachy becomes more powerful, even growing angelic wings like Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7. As strong as she is, Tachy dies during a duel with Eve as she cannot control herself.
4

Raven

The Mysterious Naytiba Revealed

The Naytiba who seemingly kills Tachy at the game’s start is actually a former Airborne Squad member named Raven. She looks similar to Tachy in her humanoid form, but she’s a much stronger individual as a winged Naytiba. Players will have to face Raven several times, and she gets stronger after every encounter. Thankfully, Eve also grows with the game, leaving Raven in the dust with destroyed limbs and pride in their final bout in Stellar Blade.
3

Adam

The Father Of Our Fate

Adam appears to Eve as a drone who saves her after the game’s opening. Adam later reveals his human form, and he seems normal at first. At the end of the game, Adam reveals that he is responsible for causing the downfall of Earth as he helped create Mother Sphere, which then led to the creation of Naytiba.

Stellar Blade’s hidden gem is in its side quests, and these are some of the NPC side quests players should prioritize.

Adam is beyond his years nearing immortality, surviving on the idea of rectifying his mistakes. Players will have to face him in one of the game’s final battles, and it isn’t pretty. His strength and knowledge overpower his character a great deal.
2

Mother Sphere

Evil A.I. As A Little Girl

Mother Sphere is presented as a young girl, which is typically how A.I.-based enemies can be made to be more intimidating, like Red Queen in the Resident Evil movies. After Adam created her, Mother Sphere went along and activated a war between the androids and mutated humans, thus turning the Earth into a battlefield for her benefit. Mother Sphere occupies a similar area of strength as Orcal, as she is a strategist who doesn’t get her hands dirty directly. Unlike Orcal though, Mother Sphere has more to play with, including sending armies of Eve’s space cohorts at her. Suffice it to say, Mother Sphere will return in some form, and she will get that sweet revenge.
1

Eve

Reborn The Savior

The main character isn’t always the strongest person in their respective games, but Eve certainly grows into her strength during Stellar Blade. There are multiple endings in the game, whether Eve wants to join hands with Adam and merge or to kill him, and go back to Xion with Mother Sphere. The good ending involves fusing with Adam and then fighting armies of doll-like soldiers against Mother Sphere’s command. In her heightened state, Eve ends the game at god-tier levels of strength. It’s exactly how a game should end, but that power will assuredly be nerfed in the sequel if it ever happens.
