How Does Blitz Royale Work in Fortnite?

Blitz Royale is a new roguelike game mode in Fortnite designed for 5-minute sessions and for mobile players, but it is available for all platforms. Blitz Royale contains a small map for fast games, with 32 players per map. Blitz Royale has standard elements to its design, such as the objective of being the last player standing, but there are some factors that make the game quicker. Players will drop into the map with the same random Medallion and weapon from previous seasons, but Medallions do not reveal location in Blitz Royale, nor are they dropped by defeated enemies. The objective of each match is to level up their Blitz Level for powerful loot by getting eliminations and surviving storm circles, much like a roguelike. The higher the Blitz Level of the player, the more loot they will hold, which may just see them win the match and bring home a very fast victory royale. Blitz Levels are also useful for acquiring power-ups called Boons to provide further perks and upgrades.

Blitz Royale will be available in Solo or Squads (4 players).
